Grant Creek Trail

The trail is now open!

The Grant Creek trail is a 3.3-mile paved bicycle/pedestrian route through the rural picturesque Grant Creek neighborhood and adjacent public lands. The trail begins near the headquarters of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation at 5705 Grant Creek Road, and connects the 13 subdivisions and other individual residences in the Grant Creek Valley. Please respect other trail users and adjacent property owners by complying with trail rules (PDF). The City's 2-mile portion of the trail was completed in 2015, and Missoula County completed construction on another 1.3 miles of the trail in 2016.
