Missoula Movers programming for Active Adults
Whether you want to try something new or you’re an old pro at recreating with Parks and Recreation, Missoula Movers is for you. It’s a wonderful way to explore Western Montana, stay active, spark a new leisure passion, make new friends or just have a great time.
All programs meet at location listed below. Please bring appropriate footwear, water, food and clothing for all trips. Programs are geared for active adults 55 and over, but all adults are welcome.

Missoula Movers Coffee Walks
Enjoy the company of new and old friends on guided walks through Missoula’s conservation lands, parks, and trails. After the walk, we’ll enjoy coffee from local shops and good company. Hikes are approximately 50 minutes out and approximately 45 minutes back.
Meets Mondays, 9 a.m., at the location listed on the schedule.
Mar 13 - Jun 5: Fee: $8, transportation included. Transportation is limited to the first 14 participants. Pre-registration encouraged.
Jun 12 - Aug 28: Fee $5. Transportation is not included, as vehicles are in use for summer programs. No limit on the number of participants from Jun 12 - Aug 28.
Transportation will resume in Fall, 2023.
Folk & Country Dance
English Country Dance with Missoula Folklore Society. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to promoting, preserving, enjoying and sharing folk music, dance, arts, crafts, and skills. No partner required. Please wear comfortable non-marking shoes.

37th Annual Montana Senior Olympics
Athletes ages 50+: Join us in Missoula this fall for the 37th annual Montana Senior Olympics, September 14 - 16, at Fort Missoula Regional Park.
Events include archery, badminton, basketball, bowling, cornhole, cycling, golf, horseshoes, pickleball, powerwalk, road race, shuffleboard, swimming, table tennis, track & field, and tennis.
