2. Please indicate your preference to mitigate safety hazards in trees on your property.

   You have two options for addressing the impacted tree on your property:

   1. You arrange and pay for the necessary tree work to be completed at your own expense by December 1, 2024.

   2. You authorize the City and its contracted arborists to access your property to perform the work on the identified tree at no cost to you. The City’s qualified, licensed tree service will treat or remove the hazard after receipt of your authorization.  

   If the hazard is a snag or hanger in the tree, storm-damaged limb(s) will be removed with minimal impact on your property. 

   If the hazard is the tree itself, the Urban Forestry Division will contact you to discuss options.
