    2. Welcome to the Missoula Police Department's online non-emergency shoplifting reporting service. This service is provided for your convenience to report non-custodial, non-emergency shopliftings. This online form is for new reports only. Please do not submit supplemental information on this form. Please read all instructions before completing the form. If you have any questions, please contact our 24-hour desk at (406) 552-6300 or your loss prevention liaison officer.
    3. This form is for loss prevention specialists/managers that have been vetted and trained in its use. If you have navigated to this page by mistake but still wish to report a crime, please navigate to the Criminal Report Form. If you are a loss prevention employee and would like further information on this service, contact Officer Ken Wickman (kwickman@ci.missoula.mt.us).
    4. Please fill out the form as completely and as accurately as possible. Please include detailed information, such as serial number, owner applied numbers or other markings, values for lost or damaged property. Also, include any partial information that you may have available. If you need to report more than one type of crime or multiple crimes, please send a separate online form for each event.
    5. Online reports will be sent to our support specialists for review before a case report number is assigned. The case report number will be sent to you electronically if you provided an email address or via the U.S. Postal Service, if an email address is not available once the case is reviewed. The case report number will usually be sent to you within 72 hours of the time your report is submitted. If you would like a printed copy for your records, you will have to respond to the Missoula Police Department located at 435 Ryman St, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM- 5 P.M. Please bring proper photo identification or the police report cannot be released.
    6. Reminder: If you would like an offical copy of this online report you have to go to the Missoula Police Department located at 435 Ryman St between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
