Missoula Parks and Recreation is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for guests at our facilities. American Red Cross Aquatics guidelines require lifeguards to clear all guests from the pool and have them take shelter in the locker rooms whenever lightning or thunder is observed. The pool will remain closed until the storm has passed.
Please note: Both indoor and outdoor pools must close during a lightning storm.
